She holds a Masters Degree from Cal State LA and has published two books, one about women police officers and another about single mothers.
Here’s more about Marjorie Muro in her own words…
In my 20 years of employment with the Los Angeles Police Department as a Senior Personnel Analyst and Peer Counselor, I experienced the stress of listening to, investigating and advising on hundreds of personnel and personal difficulties. During that time I learned to meditate in order to deal with my own stress and discovered that I was better able to help those who came to me seeking assistance.
I make my services available to charitable organizations at no charge when time allows. It makes me very happy to see darkness and confusion change to light and peace for others.
I am a mother and a grandmother. I have conducted classes on self-esteem for women, and I have years of experience as a trained Chaplain and Spiritual Counselor in Sedona, AZ. I enjoy sharing meditation techniques with anyone who wishes to learn. Meditation has been proven to help people suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, teenagers, small children, business executives, parents, and anyone who wants to have better communication skills and relationships and to be more at peace and focused.
There are many wonderful recorded guided meditations available to the public in various forms. However, if you want to learn to go to that place of deep silence, where real change occurs, it would be my pleasure to help you do that.
